The SG6 consists of a CRC (Carbon Reinforced Composite) body and rotor, which is designed for greater strength and stiffness, but is much lighter than the conventional graphite material. The material can handle all the forces that act on it. But it’s not all about strength with this reel, the SG6 is full of smart details such as a non-slip line spool that eliminates the need to underfeed mono when fishing with braided lines.
